Fortunately, we offer an array of delivery options. This allows us to cater to your specific delivery needs. Furthermore, when we’re arranging delivery, we’ll ask you a series of questions to determine the best method for delivery. For example, we’ll ask you about access to site and container positioning. Our most common shipping container delivery methods are:

    Tilt-Tray Delivery

Tilt-trays are our go-to for 20ft shipping container deliveries. Tilt-tray trucks are very maneuverable and unload containers by sliding them off of the rear of the truck. Essentially, the truck drives or reverses into position. The tray of the truck tilts up and slides the container off the back of the tray and onto the ground.

For a 20ft container, at least 18m in length and 3m in width is required when unloading. In addition, the height of the container while on the truck is 4.2m. However, once the tray lifts up the total height reaches 6.5m. It’s also important that your site is safe for delivery. Essentially, the ground must be level and dry.

    Side Loader Container Delivery

    Side-Loader Delivery

40ft shipping containers are usually delivered using side loading trucks. These trucks have a crane on each end that picks up the container and places it on the drivers side of the truck. Our side loading trucks can also position your container onto footings that you might have prepared.

For this delivery to take place, you will need at least 15m in length and 7m in width. Height wise, the container and truck totals 4.2m. However, while unloading at least 6.5m is required. Being a semi-trailer, your site must be reasonably level and dry for delivery to take place.

    HIAB Delivery

HIAB trucks are crane-mounted vehicles. They are ideal for delivering containers in abnormal spaces. Moreover, HIABs are capable of positioning containers on various angles and over fences. They can also be used to place containers onto platforms and footings.

Again, the height of this truck while loaded is 4.2m. It’s also important to allow 6.5m for the unloading process. These trucks are capable of delivering 10ft, 20ft, and 40ft containers.
