Victory Heights drops off the kerb and Monkland does not
Gold laid the streets along gullies, not on a grid a truck would have chosen. Victory Heights, Jones Hill and The Palms leave the kerb at a pitch a car never notices. The Mary flats are silt. The finish spot matters as much as which unit is standing.
Held in Gympie
A local order is released from the Gympie depot. You look at a unit by arrangement. Day-to-day release is there, and photos go out before a unit is loaded for a Gympie address.
Mary and the coast
Curra, Imbil and Kandanga share 4570 with Gympie, spread from the highway fringe into the Mary Valley. Tin Can Bay is 4580 and Rainbow Beach is 4581, both a coastal run with sand and a garage that gave up. Cooroy is 4563, south toward the Sunshine Coast and supplied as its own page.
Ridge or river
Housing went up on the ridges. A drive that drops at the kerb lets a tilt bed hit bitumen before the box is clear. Lifting off the street is often the sensible call. The old flat has short frontages, side gaps from before cars, and fig plus camphor laurel at truck height.
Kandanga, Amamoor, Imbil, Widgee and Glastonbury are crowned gravel, table drains, unrated grids, and a turn that has to be real. Silt on the flats is decent in September and poor a week into the wet. Ridge ground is shallow over rock, strong and seldom level. Name the street, the last hundred metres, and whether it is sealed. A straight sealed approach can take a shorter box on a tilt-tray. Ridge pitches that fall away, and the long boxes, take a crane.
Dairy, timber, boats
Mary Valley beef and dairy blocks want hay, wire and parts kept shut. Amamoor macadamias need a dry store. Curra, Glastonbury and Wolvi contractors keep timber and tools. Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach use the box for boats, pots and dive gear. Southside and Jones Hill builds want a site store. Monkland and One Mile, while a house is restumped, need the contents out of the weather.
Notes on depot inspection and on Mary Valley grids.
Can I turn up and walk the Gympie rows?
Inspection at the Gympie depot is by arrangement. Photos of the unit are sent before dispatch if a visit does not suit.
Victory Heights falls away at the kerb. Still a tilt-tray?
Usually a crane. The bed touches before the box is clear. A forty-foot on those ridge streets is the same decision, made in the quote.
Mary flat silt in February. Will it carry?
Do not assume September's surface. River silt here firms, then goes treacherous once the wet is in it. Say the month and send the ground.
Imbil grid, no rating, long gravel. What do you need?
The street, the last hundred metres, sealed or not, and the grid if anyone can rate it. Unknown means the truck stays this side or we lift past it.

Room for more.Less mucking around.
