Top of the M1

Photos of the Coast unit go out before the truck turns south, and delivery is quoted to the address. A canal lot, beach sand or a hinterland climb should be named with the length, because each one picks a different truck.

Canal and hinterland buyers can check Gold Coast lengths and grades here.

Coast and hinterland

Southport is 4215 and Robina is 4226, both dense enough that the frontage matters more than the highway. Coomera is 4209, up with the industrial land. Burleigh Heads is 4220. Tamborine Mountain is 4272, and the climb is a different booking from a canal estate.

Canals, sand, climbs

Ormeau, Pimpama and Yatala are flat, wide and close. Stapylton and Coomera match them: hardstand entries, a rigid that can sit square before the bed rises. Those get booked and finished. Canal stock at Clear Island Waters and Runaway Bay is a lift. Reach, the flight path, a wire on the frontage and room for outriggers decide it.

Beach sand over a shallow water table looks like a pad, then lets a loaded dual sink. Settled canal fill generally behaves. Fresh cuts in the northern estates do not. Tamborine, Springbrook and Currumbin Valley are narrow, low in the canopy and short of a place to turn. A twenty-foot is routine up there. A forty-foot is a discussion.

Surf, yards, horses

Mermaid Beach through Main Beach to Paradise Point is constant knockdown work and wants a site store. Dive shops and surf clubs need something dry between seasons. Molendinar joins Yatala and Stapylton for parts, and Burleigh Heads does too. Oxenford holds set and lighting kit. Coomera marine blocks keep fit-out gear. Tallebudgera, Mudgeeraba and Currumbin Valley are feed, tack and machinery on the acreage behind the strip.

A note on length before a canal lift or a hinterland climb.

Can I look at the container before it is delivered to the Gold Coast?

Yes. Ring first and you can look over the container we are holding for your Gold Coast delivery before it goes on the truck. If you cannot get there, we will send photos of that exact unit before it leaves.

Is a Hope Island side gate a tilt drop?

Almost never. The useful width is at the water and the street end is pinched. Plan a lift, then check boom reach and the wires.

Will beach sand at Kirra hold the truck?

Do not trust the look of it. Dry sand over a shallow water table lets a loaded dual sink. Say if the spot is nature strip or old fill.

Can a forty-foot climb to Tamborine?

Sometimes, and not as a casual add-on. The climbs are narrow, banked and short of turning room. A twenty-foot is the ordinary answer.

The pool sits in the only gap. What then?

That is a crane over the pool or the roofline, if the street can take outriggers. A tilt-tray needs a straight side access it can sit square on.

Room for more.Less mucking around.
