A plant gate and a beach backyard are separate bookings
Cockburn Sound puts two kinds of work on one short run from the Fremantle partner depot. One address is a backyard from Point Peron through Safety Bay and Warnbro. The other is a plant or a fabrication shop, with Garden Island across the water. The first call has to say which.
A short coast release
Steel is released at the Fremantle partner depot and trucked a short way down the coast. You arrange a time to look. A time can be arranged if you want to see the unit. Photos are the ordinary inspection. Photos of the unit you would receive are the ordinary inspection.
Sound and estate codes
Kwinana 6167 is the industrial shore. Baldivis 6171 is the estate country inland. Safety Bay 6169 and Secret Harbour 6173 run down the beach. Mandurah 6210 continues south and has its own page. A lay-down inside a plant and a Baldivis lot should not share one careless address.
Permits, then the beach
Plants along the Kwinana strip decide who enters and where a truck may stand. Without the paperwork the driver waits outside. Some sites want the box on an outside lay-down, then moved by their own crane or forklift, which changes the truck we send. East Rockingham and Naval Base are simpler: sealed aprons and room for a 40ft. Plant work and that length go on a side loader or a crane. Older beach streets through Safety Bay and Shoalwater have side paths too narrow for a tray. Baldivis, Karnup and the estates behind Warnbro are tight at the frontage and full of utes by midmorning. A 10ft or 20ft there can still come off a tilt-tray when the path is real.
Shutdowns, turf and boats
Refinery and fertiliser shutdowns need consumables on the ground before the outage. Marine shops around Cockburn Sound keep gear near the water. Defence storage happens only where Garden Island allows it. Baldivis, Karnup and Wellard builds want a site store. Turf growers on the Baldivis flats need irrigation parts dry. Safety Bay, Shoalwater and Waikiki run out of room for dive kit.

What has to be sorted before a Kwinana plant gate?
Who may enter, where the truck can stand, and whether the site's own machine takes the box from an outside lay-down. Send the site contact with the enquiry.
Is a 40ft ordinary on the industrial land?
On East Rockingham and Naval Base aprons, yes. A Safety Bay backyard is a different length. Match the box to the address.
Will a Baldivis frontage take a tilt-tray?
Often, if the crossover is finished and a ute is not across it. Estate rules and the garage opening decide the spot.
Can dive gear sit on a Shoalwater block with no side path?
Yes, on the front setback or by a short crane reach. A path that will not take a wheelie bin will not take a tray. A 10ft is the usual fit.
