Most northern drops follow a builder, then leave when the keys do
North of here the coast has not stopped becoming suburbs. Clarkson, Butler, Alkimos, Eglinton, Yanchep and Two Rocks sit beside Marmion, with the freeway and railway pushed up behind them. Much of the work follows the builders. The box leaves the Fremantle partner depot and runs north.
Freeway run from Fremantle
Northbound stock is drawn from the Fremantle partner depot, then up the Mitchell Freeway. Photos of the actual unit are the ordinary way to inspect it. If a booked look means crossing the city, the photo set of the actual unit is the ordinary inspection. What is standing there is what can be promised.
Northern suburb codes
Wanneroo 6065 still reads as growers as well as houses. Clarkson 6030, Alkimos 6038 and Yanchep 6035 are the building strip. Hillarys 6025 is the boat-harbour side. Perth 6000 is the city south of here, with its own page. Put the estate or the farm in the quote, not only the council.
Lanes, builders, farm sand
Older lots around Edgewater, Heathridge, Craigie and Mullaloo still have a side drive and, if the verge trees allow, room for a 20ft on a tilt-tray. Alkimos, Eglinton, Butler and Banksia Grove are narrower. Laneway lots put the garage on a rear lane and only a garden on the street. That lane will not take a rigid, so a crane is the usual answer, as it is for a tall retaining wall or a 40ft. Until handover the builder controls the lot, and a skip may sit where you pictured the box. Wangara strata units share a tight driveway, so neighbours have to expect the truck. Neerabup is roomier. Tracks along Wanneroo are sandy and need a firm line to the shed.
Estates, farms and clubs
Owner-builders at Alkimos, Eglinton, Yanchep and Two Rocks keep fittings on the lot until the keys go across. Wangara, Landsdale and Neerabup hold business stock. Carabooda, Nowergup and Mariginiup farms need packing and machinery storage. Extensions in Duncraig, Kingsley and Woodvale displace furniture. People launching at Hillarys or Ocean Reef keep boats where the garage is not.

How does a laneway lot at Alkimos get a box?
Often only by crane. The rear lane will not take a rigid, and the street front is a garden. Photograph the lane and any retaining wall.
Can the box land before the builder hands over?
Only where the supervisor has named a spot. An unfinished crossover and a pallet of bricks are the usual obstacles. Book from that instruction.
Will a shared Wangara driveway cope?
Not if neighbours need it at the same moment. Time the drop with them, or crane from the street if the unit can take it.
Are the Carabooda farm tracks firm enough?
Only if you would drive a loaded truck, not merely a ute. Say where the sand firms, and photograph the line back to the bitumen.
