Loose red sand stops trucks that mud would not
Stock is held for Sunraysia, and delivery is quoted to the address. You inspect from photographs. Deep red Mallee sand will sit a truck down without looking like mud.
The grade, then the sand
Photos of the Mildura unit go out before the grade is locked in. Formed ground will take a shorter container from a tilt-tray. Long units go on a crane. Anything down a sandy track needs a proper conversation before it is attempted.
Sunraysia and the river
Irymple is 3498, among the plantings closest to town. Red Cliffs is 3496, further along the fruit belt. Merbein is 3505, toward the river bends. Wentworth is 2648, across the Murray. Robinvale is 3549, downstream. Nichols Point, Colignan and Nangiloc are part of this enquiry without codes of their own on the page.
Loose red Mallee sand
A truck on loose red sand digs its wheels and grounds the axle without a dramatic bog. Formed gravel and a packing-shed apron are acceptable. Fresh ripped ground, a sand hill, and a track used only by a light vehicle are refused. Vine and almond rows are spaced for a tractor, with drip line just under the surface. The headland is the right stand. Summer middays are severe, and a dusty wind moves the day.
Vines, bins and pumps
Irymple, Red Cliffs and Merbein need room for drip line and netting. Harvest sheds need overflow for bins. Colignan and Nangiloc want chemical under lock. Irrigators along the river want pumps and pipe. Nichols Point often wants household space once the shed holds a boat.
Notes on dry inland ground and on judging a unit you cannot visit.
Will a truck be taken down a sandy track?
Not if it is loose, ripped, or used only by a light vehicle. Wheels dig and the axle grounds quietly. Formed gravel is a different case. Say which surface you have.
What decides which unit is offered?
The grade you need, confirmed before the truck is booked. The quote names that unit, and delivery is quoted to the address. Loose sand and formed gravel are not the same approach, so say which you have.
Should a summer delivery avoid the middle of the day?
Yes. High summer makes those hours a poor time for doors and steel. Morning is the usual proposal. Dust in the forecast moves the day.
Can the container sit down a vine row?
Rarely. Rows, shallow drip line and posts are for a tractor. Place from the headland, and use a crane if the spot sits deeper in.

Room for more.Less mucking around.
