A swing week needs whatever is already standing at Fremantle
A swing out of Henderson, Malaga or the Kwinana strip ends at a garage that filled up years ago. The steel for that gap is released from the Fremantle partner depot, not hauled over the Nullarbor, and the metro run after that is short.
Fremantle holding, booked look
That Fremantle holding covers the metropolitan area. and a look is a time set while machines are moving. Most buyers judge doors, floor, roof and plate from pictures. This coast is released from Fremantle. Photos of the doors, floor, roof and plate go out before a Perth unit is loaded.
Edges of the metro
Fremantle 6160 is the holding side of the river. Midland 6056 is where hills work starts. Joondalup 6027, Rockingham 6168 and Mandurah 6210 have their own pages and are edges of the same release, not extra depots. Name the suburb the truck enters. A coastal lot and a scarp drive are different jobs.
Sand under the grid
Arterials are generous and the soil is not. Inland turf sits on Bassendean sand. Closer to the beach, Spearwood sand covers Tamala limestone from Scarborough and Trigg through Cottesloe to Coogee. A loaded dual and a corner plate both punch into dry sand. Limestone bears weight and is rarely level, so pack the low side. A tilt-tray places a 10ft or 20ft on most lots. A 40ft, a scarp site, or a lift over a fence is a crane truck. From late spring the midday breeze off the Indian Ocean shoves a box on the hook, so exposed crane lifts move to the morning. Kalamunda, Gooseberry Hill, Bickley and Mundaring climb under jarrah and marri. A 20ft can make that. A 40ft needs the bends checked. Roleystone and Chidlow are the same problem.
Rosters, sheds and boats
Alkimos, Yanchep, Baldivis and Byford want a lock-up on a slab that is not yet a house. Naval Base, Bibra Lake and Henderson keep plant where a shed failed. Wanneroo and Gnangara growers want parts dry. Roleystone, Chidlow and Gidgegannup take feed and tack. Swan Valley sheds take vineyard gear beside the dive kit that never fitted the garage.
Short notes on sandy pads and on lengths that fit a hills drive.
Will a corner sink into Bassendean sand?
On thin turf, yes. Bed sleepers into firm sand and keep grass off the rail. Name the soil so packing rides with the truck.
Can a 40ft climb past Kalamunda?
Only after the bends and a turning pad are checked. A 20ft handles those jarrah climbs. Reversing a long box down granite is a poor rescue.
Does the afternoon sea breeze stop a coastal lift?
A tilt-tray can still go. A box on the hook at Scarborough or Coogee should not, once that breeze is up. Book the crane for the morning.
What should a swing-roster buyer put on the form?
The suburb, who meets the truck, and whether the spot is behind a fence. A photo from the kerb and one of the pad beat a long note.

Room for more.Less mucking around.
